The Glass ReFactory is part of Adams Brown Recycling
and both are divisions of Adams Brown Counties Economic
Opportunities, Inc., a community action agency that
serves Adams and Brown Counties in southern Appalachian
Ohio. Adams Brown Recycling (ABR) began as a summer
youth program in 1979, and has grown to become one of
the largest non-profit recycling centers in Ohio.

ABR provides a comprehensive, multi-material
service of buying back recyclables from the public (aluminum
cans, scrap aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). Money returned
to area residents in 2007 through the purchase of their
aluminum, copper and other recyclables = $1,261,237.
Other services include: curbside recycling in Brown
County, community drop-off boxes in 17 different villages
and locations in 3 counties, and educational presentations
and tours for schools, clubs and civic groups. |
